Open Day 2020
Betty’s Bites will be hosting a launch party on the 7th of March 2020 to celebrate our official opening and everyone is invited to come along between 10:00am and 04:00pm, our entire menu will be available to our customers for the whole day of the event. Betty's Bites are also pleased to announce that Sir Chris Hoy will be at our event for the whole day and will be available for photo opportunity's.

About Us

Betty’s Bites was founded by two former prison officers, Amanda Shearer and Alexz Titivaite who were concerned by the amount of ex-offenders ending back up inside as they could not secure employment, so they came up with the business solution of training and recruiting ex-offenders within a café, to boost their chances of future employment opportunities.

At Betty’s Bites, our food has no price tag, customers are encouraged to put down a donation into what they think the food is worth.

Betty’s Bites has become an institution for breakfast and lunch in the city of Edinburgh, with full Scottish breakfasts served all day alongside our newest customer favourites, such as French toast with bacon and maple syrup.
​
Gluten free & vegetarian friendly, we have a vegetarian and gluten free menu available all day and every day, and we are passionate about the nutritional benefits of our food.
​
Our breakfast and lunch menu and our daily selection of home bakes are served from all day until close, and takeaway's are always available too.
